Anpetu Waste!
We look to another new year 2011 which is full of opportunities to continue our legacy of our languages. On behalf of our consortium we give thanks and acknowledgement to those who assisted us with their support in 2010 through their contributions of language knowledge and encouraging words to continue our vision of fluent speakers in our children.
We acknowledge and support all those Language Instructors who continue to instil our living language to our students within the education systems.
During our last annual language conference 2009 we offered pledge sticks to our participates and we hope you take the challenge this new year to commit to speaking your language daily. The language can only flourish if it is spoken.
We look forward to your participation at our 3rd Annual Language Conference in June 2011 in the Dakota community of Birdtail Sioux, Manitoba, Canada.
